Kristof Column Focuses on Budrus Film

I was excited to see Nicholas Kristof focus on nonviolent resistence in Israel.  I posted a comment on the story:

Thanks for highlighting these interesting developments in Palestinian-Israeli relations. Unfortunately, the headline and opening paragraphs lead readers to look for a movement that follows a particular template, especially surrounding an individual leader. Isn’t it possible that a more distributed peace movement could exert a positive influence? Who knows what form such a movement might take? Just Vision (www.justvision.org) made the film Budrus that Mr. Kristoff describes towards the end of the article, and that organization has documented the work of many courageous peace-makers on both sides of the conflict. Perhaps this movement will not rely primarily on protest marches, but will find other ways to generate the kind of change that enables people to live together.
